Samsung lacked coolness. Technologically wise it was perceived as solid, reliable even innovative but not so great image wise. That was the reason why they promoted its smart phones through applications and celebrities. In this campaign Samsung allowed common users of smart phones and mobile devices to customize their utensils according to settings of famous celebrities and opinion leaders.
