Heineken despite its international fame is a niche brand in Poland. With the exception of its main initiative – Heineken Open’er Music Festival – annual summer event in Gdynia, the presence of the brand was small and based mainly on a variety  of small scale activities connected with broadly understood culture and entertainment. Beverly Hills video rental network was one of the important distribution channel for Heineken. This idea put the brand in the context of film genres.
